Dear Parents and Carers,

We wanted to confirm that we will not be in a position to welcome back children at FUNdays Club at Fitzmaurice or FUNdays Club at Church Church in the present situation for term-time provision. We will review the situation with our schools if guidance changes, which might allow for viability to run in a safe way within the constraints of each setting. We will continue to monitor and review the position.

Yours sincerely,

Mark West

Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you all for your continued support and understanding during these unusual times. We hope you are all well and safe.

At FUNdays Club, we want to play our part in kick starting the economy (including our own) and get back to working with your children again as we miss them a lot. However, we must follow the guidance and advice concerning safety, which is more important than anything else. Please read the attached joint statement from FUNdays Club and Fitzmaurice Primary School concerning our service at the Fitzmaurice Primary School. Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you for your patience as we have been working through the guidance being released throughout this week from government.

As our schools finalise their initial plans and share these with parents, we have received additional guidance last night, specifically concerning wrap around care. We have also been informed there will be further guidance released today for childcare providers. We are still awaiting this guidance. Therefore, we will seek to update parents and carers on Monday once a better understanding of the national and local context should be available from our schools and local government.

Kind regards,

Mark West

Dear parent and carers,

We wanted to write to update you following the Government’s announcement on Sunday regarding the changes to social distancing and the impact it might have on schools and childcare settings across Wiltshire.

The government late last night published it's guidance in relation to schools and childcare settings. We have been provided with actions to take and precautions to consider. Please be aware that our current arrangements will stay in place. The earliest they will change is 1st June.

We are in the process of planning how the phased return might be managed by FUNdays Club in collaboration with schools. We are considering the feasibility and operational conditions of the return to ensure all staff, children, parents and families are safe.

Once we have confirmation on how the phased return plan will be managed at our local level, we will send a survey to our families. This is so we can ascertain how many would take up the offer under the given conditions so we can check financial viability of a partial open. Equally, if it is over subscribed, places will be awarded as per priority following the government guidance.

You might like to read the advice published by the government for parents and carers, which should answer some questions:

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/closure-of-educational-settings-information-for-parents-and-carers/reopening-schools-and-other-educational-settings-from-1-june

Please be aware that we cannot reply to individual phone calls regarding the latest update but be assured we will continue to keep everyone updated via email as soon as we have any new information to share.

We thank you for your support in this matter. Please be assured that we are following all government guidelines.

Yours sincerely,

Mark West
